Laser Welding

If temperatures of above 600°C are likely then Laser Welded joints provide extra peace of mind and endurance at the highest temperature ranges possible.

Using Laser Welded joints to connect the heating element to the cold lead does provide some benefits over the standard silver solder braze joint.

This method is available for all stainless steel, Inconel 600 and Alloy 825 cables in both single and twin core configurations.

The joints can operate in temperatures upto 1000°C. They also provide the best possible life span due to the welding taking place at a much lower temperature than brazing, causing less stress to the cable sheath whilst providing a mechanically stronger joint.
